    Don't be afraid to push the skinny pedal on the right all the way down.
    The throttle response needs your brain to foot output (SERIOUSLY).
    I don't know why anyone would ever need more tip in.
    All that does is cheat the accelerator pedal.

    try using S mode in 4th only for anything under 50mph, then shift manually to 5th (1st overdrive) up to 60, and 6th (2nd overdrive) for anything above. if in hilly conditions, or loaded, you may still "auto drop" between 4-5th. just the nature of the tranny. you could also experiment with a gear lock tune.

    for me, i use S mode a lot. i actually start off in s3, and manually shift as i want to because, i cant stand the quick shift from 3rd to 4th, with my 2019 tune.

    i would like to learn more about the how and why's, for gear lock before, i use a specific tune for it. i wish you good luck. Ski

    In cases with lift, bigger tires, armor. The added tip-in helps driveability and has actually netted better mpgs by keeping the feathering of the throttle on highway. Especially when towing something light (less than 1000lbs) in my experience.

    and to highlight what OV has to deal with... I have lift, big tires, gears and armor and couldn't stand the added tip in cause it made the truck very sketchy when doing parking lot or stop and go traffic type driving because it was so damn touchy and yet both of us think the 0944 tune is the best one out there :cheers: hahaha.
    I do not envy OV's position of trying to keep everyone happy at all cause there are so many preferences out there

    So it sounds like this would apply to regular cruise control as well, then? If not, why is only radar cruise affected?

    I would never put Pedal Commander ($300) on any of my vehicles. If I want more tip in, I will tip in more.

    I am a very accomplished race car driver, throttle control is very important. We utilize (1:1 ratio) mechanical linkage.

    My wife in her daily driver knows how to push the accelerator pedal quicker and further when she wants to or needs to, it is not that hard.

    Yeah I am very against that $300 device that goes between my throttle and ECU.

    @OVTune
    I just had an Epiphany. Utilize stock throttle pedal to throttle body parameters in all of your tunes.
    If anyone wants to change the throttle pedal sensitivity, They can add Throttle Commander.
    Then everyone can be happy with their throttle tip in and their tune.

    Not sure how hard or how much work it would create, but one would just think you'd have one with more tip in, and one with less then users can pick. or have the higher tip in tune be the performance tune that is activated when you hit ect button.
