confused, the TSB shows for manual transmissions only yet, you (mat) say the 2019's Auto trans has these same issues? i have a 19 auto but, no issues related to this tsb. Ski

You can probably assume that there are AT TSBs on the way.

As @OVTune said, only some 2019 ATs are having the issue.

    For ECU Cals:

-- You guys have TSB-0058-18, TSB-0062-18, TSB-00125-18, and TSB-0013-19. MTs were on 58 and 125 until they revised them.

-- We have basically this one (TSB-0043-20) and TSB-0013-19.

You're also most likely getting one like 43 to be 04B05. Ring 'em up.

Just in case you're keeping count by model year:

Sorry I stopped following up on this thread for about 3 months and there a ton of pages of catching up to do. But just to help see me some time. Is there an official update on the tune that includes 4.88 gearing?

If you can't download it through the flash manager then it's not final. So no.

I'm on 04B04 and with what Matt says is being updated, I see no reason to go to a newer version if one is released for the AT.
For 2019 I could see an update being flashed though if/when one gets released, just not for 2016-17

I feel the same way. Such a hassle to update if you don't really need to

Meh, $75 For another ECU isn’t the end of the world personally. I’ll make sure I have the ability to load 04B04 or 04B05 or whatever via TechStream in case I really like a tune.

Plus, I plan to unlock several ECU’s so I can get friends trucks tuned also. Have 2 friends with 2018 MT and 2018 AT that I’m sure will reimburse me. Having a bunch of unlocked ECU’s might be a fun side project anyway.

I bought my '17 in 12/19. It had 5,000 miles on it and the battery was replaced twice under warranty (probably parasitic draw while sitting)
This past Feb I noticed the trip odometer kept randomly resetting and it was slow to start and then I had to jump-start it.
I picked up an AGM battery and all those problems went away. I will be doing the alternator output update once 2.0f drops

It doesn’t look like $75 per ECU. In fact the way it’s written on his site right now you will need to pay $75 to get 4 credits but an ECU costs 5 to unlock. The next package up is $200 for 12 credits (although you can always buy 8 for $150). There is no method of purchasing anything between 4 and 8 or 8 and 12 at the current moment so your options are that you get to buy too few for one, too many for one but too few for 2, or too many for 2.

Full disclosure, this method of forcing you to buy too many or too little has always been a theme with custom tuning software where ECU unlocks are tied to credits (HPTuners was like this last time I used them).

If I remember right, ovtune said it is 4 credits to unlock.

This seems like good news then from a development standpoint right?
I believe they’re working on a way to unlock specific amounts of credits, so that you’re not forced to purchase an amount that doesn’t make sense. Not positve on this one, but I remember @Rafael@OVTune looking into this at some point
