stock tires. 04b04 thx premium file stock gears
Probably done over 400 miles already since Thursday night (storm chasing weekend) way smoother than previous 2.0 beta 91 perf.
Love the nicer throttle input. Love the fact the delay dead pedal from brake to full throttle is gone. Shifts indeed feel way smoother. The downshifts are way nicer too especially going into 1st gear. Mpg and performance seem the same too me. I get great mpg with my pavement pounder tires.

I apologize for the dumb question, but I’m way out of the loop. I have the dongle version and understand I need to ship it back to ovtune. But I want to confirm if all 3 parts in the picture need to be shipped or do I retain any?
    Thanks for any help.A419EEA0-B7EB-44B3-9417-CB5DBE47309E.jpg

You just send the USB key (far right). You keep the tactrix and usb cable

Just put 300 miles on 2.0F, premium/stock/33 tune... (don't know if it's THX or not... the handheld cant read all the characters in the name, I will try both eventually) - it drives fantastic. Installed heavy 285's (59 lbs) and it feels just as quick as it did on stock tires. Highway is great, city is great. If toyota tuned it like this originally, the truck would get such better reviews... it was worth the wait.

I'd like confirmation on this too.
I assumed the opposite, larger tire tune holds gears longer?
My apologies if this is posted somewhere else.

I had the same issue so I removed and renamed them before RE-installing. I just added a number to the beginning and wrote a note to self which was which.

idle relearning takes about 10 minuets, but you don't have to do it all on one go. You can flash, throw it in gear, drive anywhere, and any time it's in idle it will continue the learning process.

Any recommendations on which tune file to run for a 2020 trd pro? I just got my vftuner kit and I'm excited but wasn't sure which tunes you guys are having the best luck with? I do get that strange stumbling feeling between 1300-2000 rpm.. like the truck is going down a rough road. It sort of feels like it's deciding between simulated Atkinson cycle or regular mode. I don't mind paying for premium fuel if the benefit is worth it.

The issue is not related to Atkinson cycle nor the octane.
Any tunes will help you with that.

I purchased the OV vftune kit so I’m glad it’ll fix that issue. Do you know what actually causes it? Just curious.

I initially installed the 2.0-91-4.88-THX-33. It was amazing but I was not a fan of the pedal. I switched over to the non THX version and its just way better!

I have put about 2000 miles on the tunes so far and only have come across one issue. I rarely floor it but I did the other day and it felt like it maxed out and wouldn't let me accelerate any more. I think this happened at about 50 or so mph. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I experienced the same issue on the 1.05 91 performance a while back as well.

Throttle angle limits at the given engine rpms&loads and handling the torque converter state. You are getting stuck in low rpms, the engine load increases while the torque converter is locked. There is a tons of information on this during 1.05 release and failed 1.05.1 fix

Do you happen to have an intake?

We had a customer report the other day his truck couldn't get above 4000 rpm, full throttle, just went nowhere.
Went back to stock intake and runs perfect now

I do have an intake. It only happened from pretty much a complete stop. I tried flooring it from highway speeds and didn't have an issue. Its weird that most of the previous tunes didn't have that problem including beta 2.0.
