Or is is worse when you have the cruise control set at a buck 20, you're pulling up to the guy infront quick, so you move into the passing lane, then as you get beside him, he slingshots to the same speed you were doing, then causing you to have to floor it to pass him, then you set it back at 120 and they slow back down to 100...

Installing the tune for 35" tires was the best thing I've done so far tune wise. I'm only on 31.6" (265/70/17, C load KO2s ) and only have 150# of sliders as additional weight (other than the stuff I keep in my truck) and my mileage keeps climbing after about a 1000 miles. Almost to 18mpg's right now. I was only getting mid to upper 16mpgs previously after putting on the larger tires. it might be even higher than that considering my speedo is off, right? Or does it go the other way?
Now I just need gearlock, performance, and tow mode to return and I'll be super happy.

Speedo reads the same and that tire size is like 3% difference. Basically not worth extra calculations.

My speedo is 2mph off at 80mph, and I checked my odometer vs highway markers. Once I hit 1 mile from marker to marker, my odometer goes for another 1/10 of a mile before it reads 1 mile traveled.
So I'm thinking the mpg reading is off as well.

Check it out, it can't hurt. For some reason I was thinking i couldn't load a 35" tire tune if I didn't have 35" tires. It moves much better now.
I still have to give it too much pedal from a start IMO but I'm getting used to it.

I'm assuming you first downloaded Stock THX ?
Congrats on the mileage increase..... Did you notice any other gains or differences in shifting patterns or tip in ?

    I stopped caring :(
Really entertaining the idea of getting one of the big 3 brands. Really liking RAM 1500 limited, though reliability is what keep me at bay for now

After loading both the 33 and 35 tune with my stock Goodyear wranglers they both ran great but I even feel the 35 tune ran better even for my smaller tires size. I haven’t ran the THX versions of either one because I ran the THX stock tire one and it wasn’t as smooth as the non thx.
I originally thought the shift points on the 35 tune with small tires would be too high for my liking but I feel their about perfect.

I think shifting is better, but even better than that with ECT on (aka more aggressive). Yes I tried one with THX first. To me the tip-in in it was non-existent as well. Like I said before If I push the pedal and get moving from a stop and it's not moving quick enough (most of the time) and I push the pedal harder, hard downshift back to 1st because it goes to 2nd too quick. Ugh. I seriously have to remember to give it about half pedal to get up to speed quicker. This is why I miss the 1.05.1 Performance tune. Shifting on that tune wasn't bad (except for that hard downshift even at highways speeds) and I still had the "bumpy road" issue even on .1, but damn it ran really good.

I was looking yesterday and noticed some complaints in the 5th gen section about weak AC/Vented seats AC. Honestly, if thats the biggest flaw that truck has i'd be ok with it.
I also considered Sierra Denali, but the transmission issues on the 5.3/6.2 units scared me off. I know you can get a tune to band-aid the problems, but seems like general consensus that that tranny(its Ford/GM joint venture tranny) is not great.

Unfortunatley the ac is probably one of the most important features for me due to the high temp summers we have. I actually test drove the new ram when it cam out and the ac was on lowest setting and i could feel the sweat running down my back.

i do agree about the Gm/ford but more the chevy with its “chevy shake”. That only leaves the tundra and i had one of those and although they are nice, comfy and roomy, they are a pig. $100 gas fill-ups.
