Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

1. Yes adaptive cruise still works.

2. Like different tunes/maps? I don’t believe so.

3. If you just get vF tuner then I believe you just get stock tunes that you can modify and you can use other people’s tunes for the same ecu ID. So depends on your comfort level I guess. Personally I’m running unmodified OVT 2.0 SFOB.

In the automatic version 2.0 has a tow mode and a performance mode when you switch to sport and use ect. Wonder if you can modify that to work with the traction control or a-track button.

 

The tune you’re referring to has not been released by @OVTune yet. It’s the 2.0 AT final. What we currently have is 2.0 final base.

I found some new calibrations

tldr: This updates 19 trucks to 04B33 & 20 trucks to 04B81

 

I guess The good news is now we have a cuw for 04b81.. although 04b33 is totally new.

 

You forgot to tag @OVTune to let him know we have new ECUs....again

The TSB states the new cal addresses lack of power, Delay/Hesitation and Frequent shift change. I wonder what has been improved.

 

Someone better sacrifice and flash it and upload a dump to Mat!

04B14 Stock wasn't too bad for a tank or two. It gives the killer OV Tunes some perspective.

FYI, it's very likely this will result in things like 04B05, 04A62, etc for older trucks.
