our next batch of tactrix cables arrive tomorrow and more kits for pending orders / pending shipments out the door. Thanks everyone, working on getting these out, updated, etc while working on 1.03 as quickly as I can.

Just bought the kit. I only have a MacBook Pro. What’s easier, boot camp or buying a cheap windows computer?

Also, to those claiming the trucks would be better with a higher gear ratio, I had the tune with 4.88 gears and it was great, although I might have been better with a 4.56 cause at high speed mpg wasn’t too hot.

I had 265/70’s, you’d get better results with larger tires definitely, which was my original plan.

Or maybe they were 265/75, either way, the tune and the regear is an awesome combo.

What kind of speeds are you talking about? Seems like the magic number is 65-75 for me. More than 75 and my mpg craters. Not geared yet but hopefully this year

More 70-80. I know most Tacoma drivers never plan to go that fast, but being that some in here are looking for better performance, I’d just figured I’d throw it out there.

I also had wheel spacers and skid plate, which probably didn’t help with the aerodynamics. Thing accelerated like a bat out of hell though haha.

Right on. I change the tune based on how I’m feeling sometimes. Currently on the 1.02c c shift 87 and trying out slower driving. Funny thing, I’m getting 17-18 now lol.

Regearing is definitely on the list this year

I settled on 1.02c (a) 91 octane. When first loaded, 1st gear was a little rough, but after the learning it settled down, and gave me the best performance and gas mileage at high 17's.

Does this tune fix the stutter/lurch/throttle lag when accelerating quickly from a stop? That's one of my biggest concerns, especially during rush hour.

Excellent. I’ll give that one a try in a few tanks.

It definitely smooths out the throttle response and idle. Don't recall experiencing any lurching.

I experienced all of these on stock, driving me mad in rush hour. Tune fixed it and driving in traffic is a breeze now

Are y'all getting worse, same or better mileage with the tune? It seems to be all over the place. I'm currently stock, getting 19 average on winter gas. I've ordered @OVTune's kit & waiting for it so was just wondering how it will affect mpg on the 87 tune.
