here's a close up of the numbers, first of all tho obviously everyone should know not to pay ANY attention to the actual numbers but more so the differences of before and after gains, every dyno is different.

    THIS^^

C'mon guys, let it go already and stop trying to be the alpha FFS. I for one want the OP to keep updating this thread.

Maybe the mods could get in here and clean up the crap (including THIS post) like they so often do..

    Pending..
When VSC and TRAC are off I have noticed a difference in throttle response (helping shift smoothly). I would like to see if the tune could fix this so I would not have to press the button for a "sport" mode and a more crisp throttle response.

    Way to go OP!

I just want the dead space under the skinny pedal gone.

I'm not too concerned with more HP just want access to what I have without the nanny programming blocking it.

I for one, am all ears. My wife has the same engine in her 16 sienna SE and it's a wildly better driving experience. I'm convinced it's the transmission and associated programming.

    couple things:
checksum correction - standard stuff when tuning any vehicle (except old EEPROM stuff). In terms of toyota, it's life or death. Failed checksum = bricked ECU.

on Bit-Edit. in our opinion, stay away from it. Software requires active internet connection to flash the ECU and has no recovery sequence. Our is the opposite, recovery sequence (as long as you don't turn the car off) and no internet connection required. There has been instances of ECUs getting bricked with Bit-Edit when a persons internet connection drops from their servers, located in Russia of all places.

Flash counter. Two separate master techs with every toyota tool at their disposal cannot detect the tune. Dealer tools also cannot readout the stock binary data. Even if it did, they would have to compare it to a stock 'rom' which is also non existent because toyota uses motorola based encryption on their CUW files that even they don't have a way to binary convert.

Finally, seems some trolls made their way into the thread. Perfectly fine, believe me when we announced we could tune toyota ECUs a little over a year ago it was MUCH worse than this. Nobody believed a word on it, claimed "you can't flash a toyota ecu, they are uncrackable, etc " (ask yourself why does techstream exist? a OEM dealer reflash tool :) ).

I appreciate your skepticism. Truly. Because there are many gimmicks, "chips" and honestly fake junk garbage out there. We do not ask anyone to blindly believe us. If we were so keen to sell you guys snake oil we wouldn't of waited this long

One question I have. Will the truck still pass emissions or will we need to reflash back for testing? I fricking hate emissions. That is one reason im driving a new truck. But thats another story for another time.

you should not have any problems with emissions at all.

    - with exception. If you do some sort of crazy modifications that require disabling several engine codes that causes a permanent "unready" status, then you'd fail. But you'd fail at that point tune or not.

It won't take long for the haters to buy it. All it needs is a few people on here to buy one, review it, then let the cash flow in because this is going to be huge!

So glad we don't have to deal with that crap in Texas. All we have is a visual inspection. My rear catalytic converters are going away pretty soon in conjunction with my exhaust reroute. Any and all of that will be conveniently hidden by my skids.

@OVTune My biggest pet peave is the rev hang on the manual transmission, will your tune affect that in any way?

The rev hang doesn't bother me as much as the lack of power until you hit 3500 rpm. If they make these things run off idle the way they will run from 3500 rpm and up then I'd be ecstatic. I keep my self happy as of now by running the rpm out the back door when shifting out.

The 16 Sienna doesn't have the same engine as the 3rd gen Taco. It's the 17 Sienna that has the 2GR-FKS engine with an 8 speed trans.

To all of the naysayers on this thread, why are you even here?

If it doesn't interest you - move on.

Those of us who have already experienced successful ECU tuning will stay and be happy without you; especially when we get our tunes!
