Do you have 1.04 or 1.04R? 1.04 doesn’t need the TSB.

No, I just ordered the tune and stuff yesterday. Supposed to be here friday and I am trying to prepare before hand.

 

While your waiting get your software loaded on your computer. Send your computer ID number into Mat so he can code the license. After he sends that back all you have to do is just wait for your cord.

 

If you don’t have the TSB you can flash 1.04 and then 1.05 when it comes out. Mat put the TSB settings in 1.05 but it you will keep the same ECU ID

 

I thought it had to read the ECU id number. If not I will do that tonight.

 

So I will need to flash 1.04 and then 1.05 is what youre saying even if it came out when I am ready to flash?

 

No. You don’t have to flash 1.04 first

 

That comes afterwards. Just follow the instructions on the first page to setup the software and get the computer ID. Then he'll send you a license for the software which enables the buttons. Then once that is good you read the ECU information and send that to him which you need the cable for but you can do the rest of it up to that point. If you know anyone else with the tune you can borrow their cable till yours shows up to keep things moving.

Please 1.05 can’t come quick enough. I’m on 1.04 and the “learning” has definitely came back. The hesitation and lunging when rolling into the throttle is just as bad as stock. The increase in power is there, but the driveability is horrible. My wife took it earlier, came back home and said WTF is wrong with your truck

I have had this for a few months now. I just want to drive it, not think about how it is driving all the time. I go for periods of time where I don't notice anything which is great, then it just pisses me off and then I am aware of it every drive. Got to the point I was looking for another vehicle. Can't figure out what I want so I decided to check back here and saw all the hype, that was like a month ago. I guess I will disconnect the battery because it's probably still gonna be a little bit here and I pretty much hate my truck about 1/2 the time. My wife notices too and she drives like a grandmother. She says stuff like why is it shifting, I thought that guy fixed it.

 

By the way, what is the story behind the truck jumping?

 

1.05 will have the latest ID code so you won’t need any tsbs
