I am about 120 miles south of that

 

I’ve seen people riding bikes to work up here at -40F. Fat bikes with spiked tires and a lot of crazy added in, but a bicycle regardless.

If I could average in the mid to low 20’s mpg with a tune, it would pay for itself in about 9 months... I’ve already put nearly 20k miles on my Tacoma since April by the time this tune is ready I’ll be about out of warranty.

 

I see that around here as well but I am not that kind of crazy yet. I got mine about 19 months ago and don't have 8k on it yet

 

I was just looking yesterday and I’ve done 43xxx since I put new tires on in March

 

Looking good even though I have Zero clue of what this all means

Is this the reason my truck 'surges' when trying to slowly back up? Only when cold, every day, backing out of my garage, i hear a little 'click' then the damn thing surges and i have to compensate by placing more force on the brakes. My neighbors probably think I've already started drinking, and certainly tell their kids to stay clear of that sidewalk when they see the crazy-ass in the Tacoma backing out, good grief. Hope 1.05 fixes it

Same here every morning backing out of driveway and approaching our sd gate. Also happens at the Whataburger drive thru every morning while picking up my coffee.

 

Didn't get the blog post finished last night but should today.
I'll have pending orders out as soon as possible. Probably not today. Due to yesterdays storm I can't get to the road.

When i back up my steep driveway... it feels like its dropping cylinders.

It is truly mind-boggling how an engine thats only 210 cubic inches can get such shitty gas mileage.
The factory tune has got to be a clusterfuck.
My 2001 suburban was getting 13.9mpg on the highway with an 8.1 liter / 496 cubic in engine.

 

Mine also surges when backing and it makes it a bitch backing under my Four Wheel Camper. Not sure how many times I've givin' it a harder "Love Tap" than need be. Hopefully I don't ever rip the camper jack mounts off.
