Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

You just sent us your system ID thursday night... I'm not sure how it's our fault you've waited 15 days? Or anything about cut paste install uninstall business.

Then you should be happy to know right on our terms / resources it says it can take 1-3 business days for setup. We're still right on schedule to when you sent us your ID.
It also mentions it's not a 1 minute plug and play setup either.

Software Registration-
The software used to tune your vehicle is created by a software engineering company we work closely with. They are an international ECU editing and calibration software company, so there may be a delay from the time we receive your unique identifier code, to the time we are able to process and provide a License key.



As soon as we send you your key, you can register and go straight to downloading tunes.

 

And I don't know about you guys but I have more than 600 bucks worth of tunes in my file...
After today ill have about 18-20 different tune options to choose from.

The last time I had a vehicle tuned at a shop it was around 1,200 bucks per tune. So the way I look at it thanks to @OVTune I saved around 20k....

 

I understand that. As I said nowhere was it stated to hurry up and register your computer as it could take 12 days to receive a box of wires. I understand the one to three business days which means Friday could’ve been a possibility or Monday or Tuesday. However clearly you are conducting business online at the moment... I’ll just be patient and wait till Tuesday night then I’ll send back the required information and be patient again for another one to three business days.

 

And if twat waffle had paid attention on Thursday the banner on the website read everything is delayed to finish the update.

After we send you the registration key, there is NO waiting at all. That was the entire reason we have been delayed the last few days. To wrap up this new flash manager that cuts our (already easy) setup in half.

It's going from 4 steps to 2 steps.
1. Collect registration info
2. Register.
done. That's it, go straight to downloading tunes from the flash manager. You can even order, register before your box arrives, and flash a tune the very minute you get the cable out.
We've been working on this update for a while.

WELL THEN!! While ive been enjoying my tune I notice this thread has not changed...

 

Captndarty is having his period or experiencing a bipolar event. Now we can all use the "ignore" button and go back to not having to realize how dumb this county is becoming.

 

In other words, Mr. Waffle, this delay is so you and the other (patient) new customers can have your tune sooner.

 

Finally pulled the trigger and ordered it. How’s the acceleration? Been using a pedal commander because the stock tune is a sloooooooow response.

 

Did you guys have to sign for your tune when it came via ups? I will be working and am wondering if I need to make arrangements to be able to sign for it..?
