Just submitted my software licensing key, hoping you can get me good to go for tomorrow! I cleared the day to enjoy a new truck after flashing.

Just tested it out... but didn't want to be out tonight too long... will test more tomorrow... but damn it felt awesome... almost like driving my wife's Lexus. The accelerator feels as close to perfect as I can imagine. The truck feels lightweight and punchy. I will definitely be loading the 2nd version, but this will do for now for sure! Definitely going to be driving this around this weekend... gotta make an excuse for a trip now.

 

Try ECT mode as well.

I really tried to give this version the best response with mpg focus in higher gears, but with ECT it's fully alive. Incase you want that power but still want a chance at decent mpg

 

Stupid snow prevented too much testing. But yes . Definitely better. And ect feels insane in the short run I made with it

 

Do we change anything in PCMflash when flashing the ECM vs the TCM file? Ive never had to flash 2 files before now.

 

@OVTune, my truck is version 04B02, but it's a 2017, there's no 04B02 for 2017 trucks on the flash manager tool (see image below), what do I do? Should I download 2016?

 

It's the same, I'm surprised you have a 17 with a older version ecu

 

So flash the ECU file ignition turn off when done.
Hit ignition again and then flash TCU?

Yes, exactly like doing the ecu, just switch to tcu

 

Done with a test drive, 20 miles. Some highway, some city.

Felt great but I’m not saying much till I do some more driving.

Braved the 40* in my gym shorts to run out and flash (that sounds weird). Warming up the truck now then it’s on to test drive
