2016 Toyota Tacomas

Anyone getting a 2016 model? I just put my order in @ Servco for TRD Off Road. I finally saw a pic on another thread. not too crazy about the black flares. I guess it will grow on me.

 

I'll probably get one in 2021. I need to pay off my '14 and hand it down to my boy first. Based on trend it will still be the same truck. Black flares? Paint them, easy fix.

 

When did they say it will be in?? I want one, but want to see specs first.... how much was the down???

 

I went to Mapunapuna Servco. No official price and numbers yet, only a few details on what toyota released (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0HD5jLC5BE). They gave me a ball park of around Oct/Nov release not official yet. I put a $500 minimum deposit which is refundable no obligations. I worked with a sales person and the person who does the ordering for all of servco toyota. You can direct message for their names, I'm sure they will be glad to work with you.

 

We think alike. My son would love to have my truck as a graduation gift. LOL.

And I like the black flares!

 

I've been on my dealer's allocation list since release day back in January, but I didn't have to put down a dime. Is it actually ordered, or are they merely holding an allocation for you? I speak to my dealership inventory manager every two weeks, and the 2016 Tacoma is still not released for ordering in the computer.

The moment it is, you'll see a flood of specs and details about the various packages. Until then, everything is still up in the air.

Last word was that it might release in mid-June, but most likely the dealerships won't be able to enter orders in until around June 30th.

 

I actually ordered one from the color, DCSB configuration, type of engine, transmission type and the specific TRD off road package. The only thing I did not get is pricing and fuel efficiency. They could only give me what Toyota officially released and a ball park release date.

 

That's awesome. I've checked the dealers in my part of the country (Upstate NY and Vermont) and they won't allow me to put a deposit down on one yet.. Hopefully we hear something soon.

TRD Off Road Long bed base price: $35,345

that means it'll be $37k+ at Servco. LOL

 

That TRD OR looks like radiant red to me!!!

 

dont be surprised if thats just the window sticker price without other fees(delivery, documentation, reg & lic, etc.)


i kinda do like it…but since my trucks mine and I dont plan on getting rid of it soon…I wonder how good the first 2016+ fiberglass front/bed sides will look for 05-15.

 

I opted for the 2015. I got a better deal for it even with the add ons.

 

Got my first taco 2 weeks ago. '16 blazing blue pearl 4x2 TRD sport. Price was 34k otd including taxes, 7yr extended warranty and tow package.
