2016 TRD OR For Sale lots of extras $40K

Purchased new January 2016.

This truck has everything you can get with the TRD OR Trim. See the pic of the window sticker that lists all the options. I added the following:


· Toyota OEM Bed Mat

· All interior lights replaced with LED – Vanity mirrors, maps, dome, etc.

· LED Low headlights and LED fog Lights.

· Custom installed Air Compressor under hood. Prewired to battery.

· Salex center console organizers (2)

· Relentless fabrication 3 piece skids: front, mid, transfer-case 1/4in steel powder black (pic shows the difference between stock and aftermarket)

· Mobtown Offroad Bolt on sliders powder black – you can jack the truck with a hi-lift using these.

· Toytec Boss 2.5 in lift with add-a-leaf in the rear. Total Chaos Upper Control Arms

· 17x8 Black rims with 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country ATII tires with certificate from discount tire. You get a flat, they replace for free-no prorating, You just pay $36 for the new certificate.

· Plasti-dip Blackout grill

· Prewired with CB antenna mount in bed, cable ran to front under seat.

· Tinted windows all the way around, including a strip on the front; with lifetime warranty

· Most badges removed, Tacoma side badges are blacked out along with TRD exhaust tip.


This truck is perfect inside and out. Non-smoker, meticulously taken care of. Serviced every 5000 miles at Findlay Toyota. I have every receipt for everything I have ever done.


I bought the pre-paid maintenance good for 45,000 miles. I also bought the extended warranty to 100,000 miles and it is transferrable.


I scratched up the driver side rear bumper cap. Luckily Toyota made this a three-piece bumper so you can just buy a factory painted cap. I would guess a $100-$200 knowing Toyota. I didn’t bother because I don’t care.


You can’t get a better deal for a truck that’s already set to go. Rides perfect in town, but a beast off-road. With crawl control this thing will climb a mountain and all you do is steer.


I’m asking close to sticker to cover the add-ons, warranties and pre-paid service. I paid $3200 in sales tax since I bought new. You won’t have to pay that. Everything was professionally installed. Parts and labor for all the extra is well over $10K. I have receipts.

Hey man didn't you read the recent consumer reports article naming the '16 Tacoma the vehicle with the worst resale value?

I'll give you $10k and a pack of Newports.

you will have to pay taxes, on 40k if that's what someone gives for it.. there's only so much lying you can do on a bill of sale lol.

Most banks won't loan someone more money than what a truck Nada Value is

Why do you think the buyer won't have to pay sales tax? I am certain they will just not to you but they will owe it on registration.

 

No tax on personal sale vehicles in NV. Beautiful truck. I wish you were selling two months ago haha.

And net tax on trade in at dealerships. Ie, Truck cost 40k. Trade in Super fancy vehicle worth 40k. 40k-40k=0. 0 x tax rate (I can't remember right now which is horrible for an accountsnt) =0

 

Oh caveat. No tax on personal sold vehicles does not apply to all states. If you aren't in NV, check you local blah blah blah

I'm going to end up spending way more than 40k to get my truck how I want it and his recipe is pretty spot on for what I want. I don't think I'm the only person in that boat.

I modded my 350z myself, but I still bought it used (one year model old). I'm going to end up doing the same to the Tacoma (2016 used bought in Jan). But I'm also really cash/price conscious.
