I am buying tires this week. My Tacoma is stock with the 265/70/16 Wranglers on it. I have seen conflicting reports on this forum regarding going to the larger 265/75/16 tires on stock suspension (no lift). I’m sure they will function. Some report “no rubbing”. Some report “slight rubbing” on mud flaps. I don’t want to remove the mud flaps. I’m sure the potential for rubbing is only on the front and likely when turning and/or suspension compressed. Can someone who has them on their stock Tacoma tell me if they will rub the fender well or mud flaps? I would like the extra 1/2” of ground clearance afforded by the 1” taller tire. But I don’t want rubbing or the need to remove the flaps. Thanks in advance

Assuming you're running stock wheels, you'll be fine.

Yes, I have the stock wheels. Ok, I’ll get the 265/75/16s. Thanks
