2016 tundra coilover setup in 2011 Tacoma?

It is time to replace my shocks and was researching lift options. I came across a killer deal on pull off coilovers complete with struts from a '16 Tundra TRD.

I am wondering if I can replace the top hat on the tundra setup and fit it in my 2011 Tacoma 4x4 double cab TRD?

I found two previous threads - one regarding 1st gen tacoma that was possible with some years and one from 2nd gen tacoma written in 2014 that stated it would not fit.

I have not found anything regarding the '16 tundra and if that will fit on to the Tacoma top hat?

 

Possible? Maybe. But the spring rates and shock dampening will be all wrong and it will most likely ride like crap.
