You still have the primary cats it's a little louder but it really depends more on your muffler choice

I come from an import car back ground.

Turbo cars and no cats are perfect since the turbo can reduce the noise. Plus they sound really good with straight 3-4" exhaust.

The only no cat experience I have is seeing hondas at the track. After a few of those my ears would start to bleed.

Actually I had a 1 ton jeep with a 350 and no cats. That was painful on trips. But like you said...you still have the the front cats. So maybe not too bad. And it's an easy swap for inspection time.

The last thing I'd be worried about is the secondary o2 sensors. I know on all other cars I've had when you remove the cats getting the rear o2's to work without software is a huge pain.

Well the thing is on Tacoma it goes 02 Cat 02 and then cat so the last set of cats doesn't get monitored so no CEL

I have this Y Pipe on my second gen so unless they changed it for the third gen it should be the same

Nice! That's works perfect then.

How's the sound? I'm partly worried on 400-500 miles drives how bad it'll be. With my cat back and tires i have trouble hearing the passenger sometimes.

They said it's the same. So it removes cats? Throw any faults?

I'm surprised URD says that it doesn't. In my experience, O2 simulators are required but according to URD's product description, none are needed.

02 Sims are required when you take out the front set of cats

Here it's just computer. So probably fine.

Next is does it ruin power from less back pressure.

I've been running this setup for a while with no issues -

The truck passes inspections just fine. I also have a tune that takes the rev limiter to 6200 rpm and eliminates the speed limiter, but I rarely go over 110 mph on 285/75R-16 Toyos.
