I'm excited that I can finally order a 2016 DC OR with a LB! It's still amazing to me how much gear you accumulate as a professional hunter. I need that extra bed space. I also plan to buy a shell with a frontrunner slimline roof rack so I'll gain ever more storage space. I can't wait to order one. I'm going to copy my buddy defconbrix a little. Except mine will be a Quicksand OR LB camo-wrapped with all the goodies. IMG_5192.jpg

Not mine. It's the truck I'm using for inspiration on the new 2016 though.

Yeah, this seems like a big deal to me. The DCSB TRD OR was one of the most popular configurations in 2nd gen by sales numbers, and seemed very popular on TW as well. There was always that question though - DCSB TRD OR on the one hand or some sort of DCLB, maybe SR5 with aftermarket or Sport with aftermarket. Being able to do DCLB TRD OR seems like it would be a popular option, will be interested to see how many are made.

For me in the end I was sort of glad I didn't have the DCLB option because it forced me to think carefully about whether a DCSB was what I needed. In the end the DCSB was just fine for my needs and I prefer the shorter wheelbase, but it really seemed dumb that one couldn't do a DCLB OR. As you mention, a lot of people who do OR on nasty roads for work or hunting need the extra space and are fine with the reduced angles from the LB.

Funny, I talked to that dealer on the phone on Friday. They said they had one earlier that was gone already, and wouldn't have more for another week or two...

Although I will agree, I do like the look of the 3rd gen. But I'll take my Tank any day.

I literally went last night @930 pm and it was in same exact spot OP took pic with white Tacoma next to it.
Also I called dealer as well on Thursday and he said they wouldn't be getting new 16s in for 3 weeks then I find a pic the OP posted and I was like WTH they don't know shit.
