I see a 6 speed manual is only available in a double cab short bed, I want the long bed- what's up with this? If I were going to do a crazy re- build $$$ for camping etc which model would be better? Just spit balling here, but it seems Toyota doesn't allow the buyer to configure/build it my way.

Manual is only available in shortbed. I wanted the long bed and a manual TRDOR. I needed the bed space more than I wanted the manual.

My build preference would be a MT, V6 ,OFF Road, Access Cab.Toyota won't allow it.

The Sport or SR is the only way you can get a long bed manual. I was confronted with this issue too so I took the OR SB.

Seeing a Sport AC is weird Haha mostly because we don't get those in Canada.

You can get a Off Road MT V6 Access cab long box. My boss has one.

That's the double cab though. I was referring to the access cab

Nope no access cab MT in an OR in the USA.

If your going to spend $$$ on a build go with the sport and budget for lockers.

Fair enough then. For once Canada has a model that the USA doesn't have lol it's usually the other way around

The only way to get the Off-Road here was with an access cab. Untill 2017 when they brought the DCOR up here (we did have the first gen DCOR). I have seen a handful of second gen DCOR and AC Sports (3 DCOR and 2 AC Sports) up here.

Yeah bro major bummer, I lived your frustration. I wanted a black TRD Pro DCLB 6spd MT, sunroof, JBL; truck doesn't exist! Ultimately it came down to either manual or LB because I didn't want to compromise on the color, sunroof or JBL. So I got a black TRDORDCLB with P&T package+JBL. The only thing I didn't get was the old fashion stick shift because I NEED the 6foot LB. I figured all the Pro suspension & cosmetic stuff I can get later.
