Ya, so like 775lbs total? Decked is 200, cap is 180? I would stay clear of airbags, especially with a trip like that planned. Leaks happen etc. and would put a damper on the trip quickly. HD leafs are the way to go for the reliability and performance for sure. Alcan or Deaver can make anything you want, just $$$$. I would call or email Wheelers or Headstrong and tell them how much total weight you plan and see what they say. It would suck to try and come up with a fancy combination of parts (AAL/airbags/bumpstops/helper springs) just to come up short (literally) on your end goal.

I would replace springs with Dakar medium or heavy duty. I have the medium duty Dakars and truck handles weight in the back much better than before. FYI - I don't have a drawer system but the pick has a 170 lb RTT, ARE cap, bedmat, 2 max trax and various camping gear in the bed. If I had a drawer system I would do heavy duty leafs.

    4/5 - 3rd gen - I think you would get a bit over 2" with 5-6 setting.

i have not done the lift yet. its up to you on which you go with. like many have said, i would speak with Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road as i will before i buy too. if you are doing the HD leaf pack i would say youll need to set the 6112 up front on 4/5 or 5/6

    Which model are you running?
Are you running the shorter (3rd gen) or longer (2nd gen) or tundra ones?

    610-40 (5" high x 4" diameter)
    Or 612-40 (4" high x 3" diameter)

    Thanks.
Some people seem to indicate those make a bit more preload (stiff ride) with a fully empty truck, but that is the way I am leaning, or maybe that is my truck leaning.

To do it right, you need heavy leaf pack.

I run dakar heavy duty leaf pack. When loaded with 200lbs or over the ride is smooth as butter. The newer HD leaf pack does not squeek like the older ones did. I am happy with the performance so far.

The Black truck is similar in weight you're talking about. It took a full heavy set of OME to level. The white truck has medium OME20171230_165905.jpg
