Manual 3rd Gen Tacoma's all have the 8.75 inch differential. Regardless of TRD Pro, TRD Sport or TRD Off-Road all manuals have the bigger differential. Because of this, there is only one Air locker, 3 E-Lockers and an Open differential available for them. There is currently no limited slip or mechanical locker available yet.

    So your choices are
    Factory Open
    Factory E-locker
    Eaton E-locker
Harrop E-locker. ( I believe this is an Eaton, not completely sure )
    ARB Air locker

Be aware running a Truetrac takes some serious getting used to. If the road is wet, you can't take off from a stop very fast. If the road is wet and you are trying to take a turn out of a parking lot or a stop light, it will lock up on you and fishtail. I ended up installing a throttle commander in my other truck so when it was wet I could turn the throttle response down. Truetrac's are AWSOME offroad, with any wheel spin it locks up like a spool, you feel a split second of wheel spin then 100% traction and off you go. The only drawback is if you have one wheel off the ground it won't lock, e-brake usually will be good enough to get you rolling again. For a DD I highly advise not going with a Truetrac.

That sounds somewhat unlike a truetrac/torsen diff. They are typically the best lsd option for on-road applications with very mild street manners compared to other locking and limited slip diffs.

probably the best option, but people need to know before installing one into your DD, you will have to change your driving habbits. If you have a heavy foot, you don't want any of the gear driven LSD's in the rear.

the mechanical clutch driven LSD that was available on the TRD Sport Package #2 for years 2005-2008 was actually pretty good! I put a few through the ringer and never wore out.
