I need to adjust the headlights lower on my 2017, but after doing searches here and on the internet, the only thing that I found on the back of the headlight housing that looks like an adjuster is the round silver object in the picture with the notches on it.

There's one on each headlight housing and it has an 8mm hex on it, and it does turn. So is this the vertical headlight adjustment screw, and if so where is the side to side adjustment screws located.

There is only the option to adjust vertically. You may be able to do something if you open up the headlight but it would be permanent. IMO this is an odd thing to adjust, but I understand every individual has their own needs. Could you provide more info on what you're exactly looking to accomplish? There may be an easier solution to get the results you want.

I just need to lower the headlights as I raised the front 1". So is the silver notched wheel the up/down headlight adjusters, and if so is it turned c or cc to lower the headlghts

There is no physical horizontal adjustment mechanism. Any adjustment found would be for vertical aiming. You need to do this at night with the lights aimed against the wall.

Okay, so you're going to want to turn that silver screw counter clockwise. Like hiPSI mentioned, do it at night against a wall. After lowering the beam drive around a bit and make sure they are where you want them. The screw is pretty sensitive so do a 1/4 turn or 1/2 turn at a time. If you only raised the vehicle 1" it shouldn't take much to get it at a proper level. Hope that helps!

I marked a line on face of the adjusters with a felt pen and I initially went 1 1/2 turns after looking at the lights on the garage door, and I just drove it down the street to check it out and it looks pretty much like it did before I did the lift.
