Any recommendations as far as a better recovery point option? Cash is not really an issue but obviously I’m always looking to get out as cheap as possible. :). Any advice would be appreciated.

Nothing wrong with BP fabrication and not as expensive as ARB. Took the stock flimsy one out.

Will that one work with the TRD Pro skid plate?

Don’t use the bumper anchor method, no matter how strong it looks!

I’d look at the ARB one. Or Mobtown has a recovery bar that is frame mounted I believe. The one shown above seems rated for the weight, but my personal preference would be to have some lateral bolt points as well. Not saying it won’t work at all - recovery is just one area I like to overdo things a little.

Does anyone have any thoughts on a frame mounted front recovery point? As I understand it, the stock one - and one like the BP Fabricating one (which is the one I'd like to get) - are mountain on the crossmember? Sorry, a bit new to the world of recovery.

If you want to spend the cash, this is probably one of the better (solid) options, outside of bumper replacements.

I couldn't find this on the ARB website. Is it made by ARB?

    The red one? Yes.

Link is in post above yours. Can't buy it off ARB website though.

Thanks. I'll be going to 4wheel parts tomorrow. They can order it. I'm hoping it works with the TRD skid plate.

Yeah that is the one I was talking about earlier. I was also thinking it happened because they did not use the rope that can stretch.

The bpf hook mounts to the frame in existing holes. It’s a very solid unit.
