Welcome, no hard feelings, some people think its "hate" or rude response, but I think its because they don't understand the tone on this forum. Almost everyone here is chill and will help each other out. Its like having a beer with a bunch of your buddies and you ask a dumb question, most will make a joke but in the end will answer it/help you out. Congrats on new ride.

That was my truck from the previous thread. It's a chemical reaction from tire shine and anti mold agent on the tires. Trust me, it won't come off. I got a new truck out of the deal bc the dealership caked the tire shine on the tires and by the time I got it home the paint was ruined.

The dealership even had a chemist to come in and they couldn't remove it, and it's predominantly on the rough paint area near the bottom of the vehicle.

I'd be pissed at whoever circled all those spots with a marker. Probably wouldn't even notice the spots if it weren't for that. And idk how to get sharpie off paint safely.

You're kidding, right? Pretty sure those were just edits to the photos, not actually on the truck.

no thats called ferrous deposits. ALL cars get them and it just shows best on white. Clay bar and some iron X or any other iron removing product will get rid of it quick and easy

So were you able to remove the spots/specs? Or is it under the clear? What did the dealership say?

You showed us the spots but never said if you were able to resolve it, or not.

Asking because I have a Super White on order, should arrive 3rd week of November. I'm hoping the temps hold because I plan on washing/claying/sealing/waxing day one!

The super white isn't a clear coat paint, it's a single stage gloss coat so there's clear in it, but there isn't a single stage where clear is laid over, so it's either embedded in the paint, or they are paint chips.
