Today I added the tailgate insert. I drilled a couple 3" holes and silicone in some cheap Amazon cup holders.

This weekends project was adding sound deadening. I did the floor, back wall and both front doors before running out. I used the 80 mil Amazon Basics material. Decibal readings before at 70 mph was 70-71 dB. After the sound deadening it is 66-67 dB. Same speed, same stretch of highway. 3-4 dB doesn't seem huge, but it equates to a 50% - 60% reduction and is definitely noticeable. I will get more for the rear doors soon, not sure if I should do the roof or not. I also bought a pool noodle to stick between the cab and bed which I read about here. Haven't tested yet)

I also installed the Meso puddle pods while I had the interior out. Probably the most frustrating mod I've installed so far. They are worth it but pulling that wire is such a bitch.

Are those the factory clamps that came with your camper shell? Like how they mount and thing they maybe better than what I currently have.

They are Toyota part # PT948-35160

Install was pretty straightforward. You have to drill a couple holes in the bed with the templates. The wire harness runs up the frame to a grommet below the drivers seat which you replace with the new grommet attached to the harness. It taps in to power in the driver's kick panel area. I don't love the T-tap method for getting power but for such a small gauge wire, it's fine.

@jcm I was searching through TW earlier today for some good lift options 1”-1.5” and seen your post. See ya ended up with the 6112’s and was curious how you like them? I was in the same boat as you with the 5100’s being mediocre imo.
