It's a shame it didn't come with those wheels. Looks great. Who's Dustin? What did you pay for the wheels, tires, etc.???

I wish they came with the 4runner TRD pro wheels, though these are better. Dustin is the guy who runs Fn wheels, look up Fn wheels on the Tacoma forums, you will find a lot about them. Not sure what a set would run with shipping, i assume around 700-800$, I found out he was local and I picked them up from the store with no shipping cost. I got the tires for 208 a piece though they usually cost around 219.

    TRDpugz,
    Amazing looking truck and congratulations.
Update...I got mine on 11/02/2016 and love it! It's a great truck and I am so glad I didn't go the Tacoma TRD Sport and attempt to clone the Pro.
I love the FN wheels and I plan to do the same upgrade. Why 265/70r17? Will 275/70 or 285/70 fit without rubbing? Did make any other modifications or does your current set run? I would like to get the biggest tire without having to modify or lift it. Yours look pretty flush with the fender and the white lettering is killer with that color combo.
It sounds like anything over 265/70R17 "C" tire becomes an "E" rated tire and they have a harsher ride?

Congrats man, i think a 275/17 should fit though I'm not certain and E rated will be a harsher ride than a C rated, heavier so i would assume it might effect mpg a bit.

I'm not sure but they are rated as a passages car tire as apposed to the BFG KO2 has a LT rating.

i thought so, they are rated as 112t, but ive seen some other 112t rated as 6 plys,,, im getting ready to buy new tires for my pro, i guess i will get another set of C-rated toyo's open country's,, they will be alittle heavier than the stock goodyears,,, toyota put 8 ply's on the 15 pro's which i traded for my 17 Pro,,, and 4 ply's on the 17 pro.. maybe they never heard of 6 ply's...

    Wow those look great!

Is there a difference between the stock toyota pro wheels and the fn fx?

I think the stock tire weight is 33lbs and the KO2's are 50lbs. KO2 tire has a snow rating and they are very quiet on the road. Heavy side walls. I'm running 30lbs of pressure which put me at 33 lbs on the road. I used a infrared thermometer after the tires came up to road temperature to get a good flat tire patch on the road. Trial and error until I got a good even heat range across the tire. Look them up on Tire Rack! They give you the spec's of almost all the tires. BGF KO2 pasted with flying colors. Much better then the BFG AT I had on my 2012 Tacoma.

The stock wheels are a 16 by 7 while the normal pro 4runner wheels are a 17 by 7 with a +4 offset, the Fn FX pro wheels are very similar to the 4runner wheels but are 20lb lighter, they are a 17 by 8 with a 0 offset and 4.5 backspacing

I love the stock trd pro wheels but needs bigger tires. What is the latgest tire that can go on those without rubbing?

Pro family. I need help. My 2017 pro makes a weird noise when brakes are applied. It's like a humming/vibrating feeling. It happens for like 2-4 seconds then goes away. It's mainly when stopped or decelerating. Any ideas of why this could be? Or is this happening to anyone else? ✌️

No I haven't experienced that either. Sorry to hear about your issue. Unfortunately it looks like a trip to the dealer.
