that makes a valid point... i still need to see one of these paired with the bushwacker flares to make sure there's no interference between the two...

Ordered my 4Runner Pro wheels, but still all over the place on tires. I really like the 275/70-17s, but keep seeing mixed reviews on the ride of the KO2s (specifically because they are 10ply rated). Worried I may not be thrilled with the 265/70-17 size (friend at Toyota is pushing the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 hard). Any feedback on those tires or suggestions for other 275s?

Also, anyone have issues with swapping the TMS sensors over? My buddy said it should be a no hassle swap.

    Thanks.

Bray, I'm getting my tires tonight. I was hoping you could tell me if you have your spare underneath or is it racked? I couldn't tell from your pics.

Should I bother having them put my full-sized spare in the stock position, or should I leave it out and relocate the mount when I have a chance?

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping

My spare is mounted on my rear bumper, you can see in the pic below. From the factory there's a full size spare underneath. As long as you're not going up too many tire sizes you should be able to fit it underneath. I took my factory spare off just bc I had no use for it and it's just extra weight. Hope this answers your question.

Thanks, I just read in another spot that it will rest up against the exhaust. Crap.

Well that sucks! I know not everyone has the tools, but if you have a blow touch you might be able to hear the exhaust pipe near the rear to bend it an inch or two away from the tire... just a thought

Tires ordered. Went with 275/70-17 KO2s against tirebuyer.com's advice. Good news is if I hate them, they will take them back. He mentioned the added tire pressure may trigger the TMS light. Any experience?

    What does that even mean?

Why are you adding pressure #1, and why would that trigger the light? All you do it fill the tires to the PSI you want, then click the "TPMS SET" button under the dash, and it will re set the pressure to any setting you like.

Test fit of the 255/85r16 on the front is clear. No control arm interference although it was fairly close when turning opposite the side. No liner rub, but I'm sure it will on compression. However it doesn't look like too much trimming. When I get a chance to fully stuff it, I'll report back.

It was dark when I left the tire shop. I'll get pictures and static dimensions tomorrow. It look good though. Just right to my eye.

Excellent! I am thinking of doing 235-255 width on mine.

Beautiful. How much fender cutting was required?

It took me 3 months to cut up my new LX570 to put a snorkel in it. I would love to put a snorkel in my Pro as well.

If you went with a 235, what would the ratio be?

Has anyone taken the decal off the hood yet? I thought I saw pictures of one but can't find any threads or anything.

Crappy pics, on a crappy day. No measurements, but I will get to it. Snapped these real quick walking back into office.
