Don’t waste your money on an intake, get OVTune if you want actual results :)

Don't waste your money on an aftermarket intake, there are no power gains to be had.

That seemed to be the consensus on another thread I made. Im looking to add some noise though, and want a durable intake that will do this. Looking to pair an intake with an OVtune.

You'll get more gains by putting just the sticker on.

Ah, my first 3rd gen came with a k&n intake, it was extremely loud lol.

I had an mbrp exhaust on my Manual ‘17 that sounded good (after I hammered an auger-style baffle into it). Too loud without the baffle imo, but you might like it.

I don't think it matters then if all you're after is noise.

I’d go with a dry filter personally, less maintenance.

To be fair, now he told he just wants noise.... which I think an exhaust would also be way better for. Stock intake box ftw

No, as I am a new owner, I got a lot of information on engine mods on the other thread I made. The conclusion was an intake will only add engine noise, but not increase performance. So, I created this thread to determine what intakes people like to better guide my purchase. I will be purchasing an OVtune in the future. I want to know more about specifically which intakes people have or recommend.

You can’t really go wrong with AFE, they’ve always made great stuff. Dry filter won’t require any maintenance, so that’s a plus.

If it's for noise get something with a dry filter. Like others have said there will be no performance gains with a cai
