Funny thing, the lack of a moonroof is one of the things that drove me toward the Pro. Every single TRD OR I could find had a moonroof. I'm 6'6"... I don't fit in the Tacoma if there's a moonroof.

Also, fun bonus for current TRD Pro Owners (or TRD OR owners) that have iPhones and want to use the Qi charging pad:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M19RCRL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This thing works great with my iPhone 7 Plus. That charging pad is damn convenient when it actually works with your phone.

I saw a good looking TRD Pro at the VARO (VA Reg. Off.) today and it is softening my will power ... look more at them if the price drops a little.

A lot of the returning troops are getting rated for their PTSD disabilities and the parking lots are filling up with fancy vehicles.

4 ply are cheaper and lighter. And when the fuel economy already sucks for a 6 cyl small truck, every tenth of MPG looks better on the spec sheet.

That's a bit of a steep price tag to justify it. That's about 41000 in American dollars I guess

Does the TPMS light come on when you upgrade to bigger tires?
Pretty much the only thing I wanna do when I get my Pro.

If that is USD 41k, then thats not really that bad, considering that manual MSRP is 40,760. Alot of dealers in the US are charging thousands above MSRP.

If we are doing a straight comparison a trd sport 4x4 dbl cab auto goes for 40500 msrp in CAD which would roughly be 30000 USD .

So the pros are going for 15000 more CAD 11000 more USD .....

Just seems outrageous to me. Does that sound about the same down there?

In Texas you pay taxes where you register it not where you buy it. So if you are a TX resident and buy in Ok then take back to Tx you pay sales tax in the county you live in. I thought most states have similar laws.

    Yup

    CA has the same law.

So if you buy it OR, they will ask for your DL and address, and they will mail the sales tax to CA. Now if you buy in OR, but can show MT address, you can get away tax free

Invoice/MSRP prices in the US for a TRD Sport 4x4 DB AT

    7542 - TRD SPORT DOUBLE CAB 4X4 V6 AUTO.............. $ 32153 | $ 34705

If they really are selling TRD Sport 4x4 DBs for 40.5k CAD, then everyone should go buy one in Canada, since its about 2-4 grand cheaper than the US.

56,063 CAD is 41,590 USD, so PRO pricing in Canada seems to match US more then.

Might make sense because the dollar is so weak up here, but they would get you on duty or import fees I'm sure
