I am looking at getting out of my 08 LC and into a 17 TRD Pro but found a 17 TRD offroad for 33k in the red. wonder if that would be a good deal if I can live without the pro package.

Or I can get a 17 TRD PRO in the gray for 43K.

My small local dealer has a red Pro on the lot. It's funny because that's the only new Tacoma they have in stock. About 45,000 msrp.

I don't know why you would want to buy the Pro suspension? I have read from guys here it's garbage!!! You would be better off putting on aftermarket stuff. It's supposed to be so much better and cheaper. ;)

Garbage? I have a Pro! Its far from Garbage. It be nice if it was adjustable but it is AWESOME! Rides amazing!! Sure there is better stuff out there. But it definitely isn't cheap! And I owned a 2010 TRD OFF ROAD with bilsteins. Great truck but not even close in ride to my Pro!

You are fortunate to have a PRO '17. I finally stopped waiting and turned down a Red and White color, wanted Cement. Going with a '17 OR DBL 4x4 instead.

I guess my attempted sarcasm with my post failed.....I agree! The ride is awesome! In fact, it's head and shoulders better then the T/X Baja suspension on the 14 I traded for my Pro.

Welp I'm impatient and just put down a deposit for a Cement 6MT TRD Pro Taco.

Dealer estimated roughly 3 months of waiting, which is fine by me. Didn't discuss final price, but since they said no discount whatsoever on Pros, I'm assuming MSRP + TTL. Ah well. Also heard that all AT Pros are spoken for, so you can't order any until the new year, although that might be regional.

Anyway, hope to join the ranks of the TRD Bro club soon!:burnrubber:

Red color seems to be slowest mover. I got tired waiting for my cement, and passed on a white:/

Makes sense to me. Cement is the special unique snowflake color that everyone needs to have, and White is a classic choice. Red is typically reserved for a Ferrari or a nice sports coupe or GT, not an off-roading pickup.

If you don't mind sharing, which dealer? Dealer i spoke to said they can only place orders/reservation on the first week of each month.

Maybe they're taking your deposit now and they won't actually do the order until next week.

    Stock... for now.
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum - I'll be receiving my 2017 Cement Tacoma trd pro (A/T) mid-Jan. Here's my deal:
    $39,766 -- Vehicle cost
$1985 -- Owner's Protection (6 year/75,000 mile major component coverage) *selected, but optional
$469 -- Ziebart Overseas Protection Package
    $940 -- Destination
    $1116 -- Overseas Transportation Charge
$450 -- Handling and Admin Services
    $800 -- Northern Italy
    _________________________________
    $45,501 -- TOTAL

I only poked through a handful of these pages so I haven't gotten a solid sense of what a "good deal" is yet, but given that I'm stationed in Italy right now- I was just happy to get my hands on one... let alone below MSRP. (Military Auto Sales).

Welcome to TW!! Appreciate your service:oldglory: Most of us are have paid MSRP for our Pro's and a few have said they have paid invoice. Also, a few getting a little off MSRP. Invoice from what I have researched is around $41,xxx for a A/T. Your OTD price is still inline with others have paid. If you don't get the $1985 protection plan then it would be a smoking deal IMO. Will you have to pay shipping back to the U.S. when you return?

Just bought for my husbands xmas present 41500 plus tax VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND A M/T. We almost had our hands on a cement here in colorado but that was a A/T no thanks (also its a nice color but not worth the over price) plus they wanted 46k after all is said and done your paying about 51k OTD
but I'm glad i finally found it for my husband we pick up next week : )

BTW I was on a waitlist since september 1st for a super white manual trd pro
MANUALS ARE VERY RARE TO FIND AND VERY DIFFICULT TO GET

Since its for my husbands xmas present (He deserves it he's worked hard my army infantry man 101st screaming eagles! plus its also a early college grad present)
had to search day and night but finally found it!

No worries, I placed the order at Longo. Went to them since they are really huge so they might be able to get more allocations for Pros.

If they are placing the order next week it doesn't really matter to me haha. I can wait for this. :D
