Not sure how a different shock can make it head and shoulders better. Normally a new truck is going to ride better than a 2 -3 old one just because it is new. Mine rides better now with new tires than it did last week even with Es versus Ds. The Pros have different tires than the Bajas.

Thanks! The cap is a Leer 100R with some added options. I added the carpeted headliner, roof rack, and sliding front window. Here are some more pictures... Just ordered some Mobtown sliders and new tires in the spring!

I called to place my deposit today. He placed me on hold for a couple of minutes and then comes back with "looks like there's a coup-few people ahead of you"... W... T... F... I spoke to him a few weeks ago and he told me to call back first week of December because that's when they put the reservations.. Shit, I wanted to put my name down and deposit then... I really hope they can do multiple and delivery in March.
I'm doing mine early because I have a lease that's coming up, return date April 4th and it's the only car I have so I need to get in the Tacoma before I return it.

Ha! You are in the same boat as me, just different dates. Put my deposit down on a cement M/T in October. My lease is up in February, but I am trying to get in the Pro in December. I have a VIN# and build date is supposed to be Dec. 5th. Dealer told me I could have it 2 weeks after that - sure would be nice to get before Christmas!

    None.
Same thing happened to me here in VA. Fortunately about 10 pm on Thanksgiving I noticed the dealer dropped the price on one I test drove about 60 miles up the road from $5k over MSRP to MSRP. I texted the salesman and he said he'd meet me 30 mins before they officially opened on Black Friday and I drove away with the only Cement A/T I could find on the East Coast.

Congrats! There doesn't seem to be hardly any cement Pro's available right now. They made more cements intially, now it's the total opposite.

I'm probably also ahead of you in the waiting list. I placed a $500 dollarydoo deposit with a check and they've cashed it already on the 28th, and I went in and placed my order on the 25th.

Check back in end of Aug, was supposed to be here in Dec but ended up going to the current round for allocation in march. As of yet, no one deposited it.

Shit like this worries me with dealers. I asked specifically if there was a wait list.. No, no don't worry. I'm automatically suspicious when someone uses those words "don't worry, I'm sure it'll be fine."

This is the first time I'm buying a vehicle without a broker because there are no "deals" or ability to specifically place an order for a pro, just allocation.

Anyway.. Enough ranting. I hope we all get our Pros and especially on time.

Okay I'm on week 9 now and they're telling me it's going to be another 3 weeks. I was so close to just switching over to the 2017 4Runner trd pro in cement I think if in 3 weeks they tell me I need to wait more I'm going to make the switch.
