You made me LOL...Completely right, I searched and searched and searched and every dealer I spoke with was a total r-tard about a sweet truck I expected every employee to be aware of and be excited about... Completely wrong, totally clueless. FINALLY found one. But WOW, what an ordeal.

I have had my TRD Pro A/T now for five weeks and I was wondering if anyone has been experiencing poor gas mileage. I am averaging only 13 mpg.
I live in Knoxville, TN. so I'm driving in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains and I have noticed that with the cruise control on the truck struggles to keep the speed up and I'm burning through a tank of fuel quickly. My first tank average was only 12.8 mpg. It seems to have gotten just a little better since I have gotten use to the truck but I thought I would be getting better gas mileage comparable with the window sticker.
Suggestions, thoughts?

 

Okay guys so my build date was Jan 4th and I live in NY. Approximately how long will it take in your opinion for the truck to get to the dealership.

 

Mine was bad the first tank and got better. Now im getting 17+.....and quite often i drive like im 16 again. Truck begs to play. No long trips yet but if i drove right....im sure id be 19+

 

And i idle a bit....warm ups a few times a day when its -20°F

 

Picked up my 2017 Pro A/T Cement today from Spokane. Flew in early this morning to sign papers and drive it back to Portland. I'm so impressed by how this thing handled the winter driving conditions the whole way home. Build date on mine was 12/19 and it was actually delivered 1/5, but I couldn't fly out till today. Salesman said he had to beat everyone off of it with a stick. Best part - no holes in the front bumper! Even had to admire it from the grocery store window.

 

I spent most of my free time looking for a Pro since labor day weekend. Placed deposits at several dealers and actually test drove one that they wanted $4995 over msrp with about $1200 of add-ons. I had to walk away from that deal in October and kept my search up. I would look at cars.com everyday to see who added a pro. Sadly most of the trucks on that site already had reserves or were already sold. My best option was to look at each dealers website and start a radius from my area outward. I live in Portland and ended up buying in Spokane for msrp. I got a call from the first dealer that I placed a deposit and they had the same truck a week before the one I bought for about $3000 over msrp. Needless to say I got my deposit back and saved some money in the process. Deals are becoming harder to come by, but they are still out there.

Congrats @jonmartin ! I totally agree with you that it would be so much easier to buy a Veyron vs this truck. I'm happy our searches are over.

 

My build date was December 1st. Truck arrived the end of the first week of January.

 

Hopefully I'll get it in the next 2 weeks I can't wait

Ive been patient as I have been waitingfor 14 weeks now going on 15 since I ordered. I'm starting to get really impatient now that I'm in the final stretch.

 

My order date was 10/11

 

Does the TRD pro come standard with an alarm or is it just the keyless entry? I think I may have just got bent over at the dealership.
