I'm thinking at this point we cant trust a word the Rep's say. For instance the talk about the JBL be available or not was going around for a long time. I contacted Toyota Care and they told me that the JBL option would NOT be available in the PRO.
Now we are getting reports that people are ordering PRO's with JBL. So who can you trust if they don't have a clue what option are going to be available.

I finally found the video! This is probably one of the most informative vids out there, all Q&A with Andy Bell talking to the TRD Pro's Chief Engineer Mike Sweers. I'd highly recommend the whole vid but if you want to hear the sunroof confirmation just start 14:00 in:

Has anyone actually "ordered" one of these yet who doesn't work at a dealership? I haven't heard a peep out of my salesman about it, I'm sure they'd like to sell me one. The word is no deposits or orders taken until pricing is released.

Was at my dealer last week and asked the sales manager about the Pro. His info about it was sketchy at best.

I put my deposit down at my dealer in February. They hadn't heard about it at that time but the toyota rep was visiting while I was there and confirmed enough that they took my money. I saw it at the Chicago auto show and the toyota rep there had a binder with a listing of standard features and options. I asked about a few including the JBL, and I believe he said it would be available but by this time I've forgotten as it wasn't a big thing for me. It will be push to start with the automatic transmission.

wonder what the price is going to be.
    probably something ridiculous.

I'm not sure which to get then. I've been set on the TRD Sport but not sure now.
I'd love to have the terrain select and all the stuff that comes with the OR or Pro, but I'd rather have a bigger lift so would likely be changing that, and I'd rather have an air locker, so would be changing that too. I'd keep the stock suspension for the Pro if you could fit 33s but I don't think they'd fit.

I guess once the prices are revealed and what not I'll decide, but I'm still probably thinking more towards the TRD Sport.

Still speculation at this point, nothing confirmed about a power sliding window, jeff noticed a new part, and someone's build sheet indicated pwr+privacy+slider, but still up in the air.

What's the difference really between the TRD OR and TRD PRO? I just see that it has a different brand of shocks

I I was asking mostly about performance. Sorry, I can see the scoop and the headlights and grill. But the suspension, that's it for performance?

TRD Pro will be extremely hard to get in Canada. Apparently only 275 of them are slated for up here in the first year.

and who knows what the price will be. the limited is ridiculous as it is, some reason I bet the Pro will be even more. Probably starting at like 47K

I'm not feeling the 47'K thing. Hell you can get a Tundra Pro for less than that.

I won't be that much, I'm betting right at $43k, just more than the limited just less than the TRD PRO Tundra.
