I think it's great some are finally getting deals but why can't you post the sales contract and cover the private information? It'll help the community get a real understanding of the market and help them negotiate. I read OTD for $40k but they don't mention their state has no sales tax or they traded in another vehicle. It gets confusing and nobody really knows if there are deals to be had. I'm in Los Angeles and bought my pro in September from ohio because I don't like waiting. I was lucky enough the dealer gave me $300 off msrp. It did cost me $825 to ship it here but that didn't bother me because my dealer 2 miles away wanted $15k market adjustment. $300 discount is not alot but I was satisfied at the time. I'm just saying it's easier to help this community by just posting the contract and there won't be he say/she say. My 2 cents

Yes I paid ohio 6% sales tax and had it registered in CA. Since my sale takes is 9% so I got credit for 6% and had to pay my dmv another 3% plus licenses

OR is zero. Just have them mail the tags to a PO box. Save yourself 4K. Wait 3 months and register in CA. After smog of course (lol)

Except you'd have to wait 2 years or 7,500 miles. CA loves its tax revenue

Definitely not a bad price if its an auto... fantastic even as most are dealing at MSRP, but I thought inv was ~40k on these things so -2k would be $38k.

What was the Msrp? Are you sure you're not confusing msrp for invoice?

Even if msrp is $44434 and you got it for $42399 that's about $2k off which is a great deal
