Dealer wants to give me 14k for my low mileage AC TRD Sport Taco. KBB is 20.1k last time I checked.

Just sell it yourself. More hassle but more moneys.

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping

You can't expect to make money with aftermarket parts. Heck I wish I only had 5k I extras

Not tryouts ngbto be that guy, but if you paid 20k over invoice you're either made of money or stupid. You can get under msrp in the southeast coast all day long.

    Scroll up

Guy already said he paid $20k over msrp

He said Toyota corp made him pay $5000 extra as well

It's right there for your reading pleasure

    Possible

But if you are making up you paid $65,000 for your pro to impress others on the net, you need to join a Range Rover forum

I have to congratulate you here as well

Fantastic deal to get PRO $2000 under invoice

I was dealer #1 allocation and I got mine a while ago. I got a good deal (under msrp), but nowhere close to what you got. I also bought my 16 OR from same dealer.

    Awesome !

This is true. My cousins live in Atlanta and a brand new TRD off road automatic with no premium tech package stickers for $38,300 but the same truck with identical options stickers for $36,742 here in the northeast region. It's a pretty fair markup for trucks in the southeast because they come with clear coat paint protection, Toyota care platinum, window tinting built into the sticker price.

That's why you see so many people from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina bragging about getting a good deal like 4-5k off MSRP when in reality they are getting the same deals as other people in other regions because their window stickers are marked up $1.5-2k.

There's just no justifiable reason to pay 20k over msrp

I did not pay 20K over MSRP. Read the break down a few pages back.
All the money spent on 2 trucks with the loss of the trade of OR and with 5K in parts if calculated it comes as if I would have bought initially a PRO and pay 20K over MSRP.
MSPR was $43700 plus a bunch as "ouch" taxes and fees.

You said Toyota forced you to pay $5000 as a markup

    Was that a lie ?

Dealer marked as Toyota surcharge. I asked for a brake down of the prices and is the dealer's rip off marked as "Toyota limited surcharge". I lost another $213 to the dealer since we had an "honesty" discussion and asked them why I got the break for storage of $213? They have no shame of ripping off customers for $5000, why stop at $213? They added the charge back to the final cost...
Insurance charged me an additional $322 for swapping the VINs in the policy. Called again late tonight and talked to another agent and found the charge is not mandated normally but it was added by the manager since I had an attitude with an employee on the first call....Big mouth today in the total of $535...but feels good to tell everybody how you feel without reservation...

First drive with the new PRO and impressions good/bad so far. After driving the OR for 3.5 months and 4250 miles, I guess I can judge the difference a bit. Here is mine, what is yours? (post if you drove another model before the PRO for comparison)
    - where is the stupid rattle on the right side come from??? OR had a tine-bitty noise but the PRO is LOUD and constant...very annoying.
    - "leather" seats (driver seat) feels a lot better compared to the cloth on OR, firmer and easier to slide/move in it.
    - OR felt a bit "rugged" as made for off road compared to PRO which is more of a mall driver? PRO FOX shocks a bit softer? Soon to throw my Icons on it.
    - PRO feels a bit faster and more responsive compared to OR from the dead start. Motor/muffler sound better from the cat-back TRD exhaust.
    - Are the tires the same? (not rims) Liked the OR a bit better compared to PRO but had them pumped to 42PSI
    - Uggggly rims on the PRO! Looking for a ditch to abandon them, will suffer till replace with something like 18" or 20"
    - Left side (driver) kick panel loose, dealer went in there and put it back the wrong way? I see a white plug-in pin not pushed in. Hate fixing new stuff.
    - Where is the rattling noise come from??? Anybody found out and share?
    - Cement color is OK, I like it since it brings out the black accents.
    - The fake air scoop...aaaa not impressed but I can accepted as there.
Over all I like the PRO a lot! in a way better compared to OR for street driving.

    You now, let it loose.

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping

I have no complaints on mine. I don't hear noise bc I dynomatted roof, ceiling, doors, and floor. I feel some of these questions you can answer yourself.... like the tire question, You had an OR for a month?

    The "rattle" may be from
The plugs the dealer should put in the LCA's.

You're not gonna feel the real performance of the shocks unless you use them for what they're designed for. I followed a friend with King mid-travel down a off road trial at 30-40mph and it smoothed out.

Personally I wouldn't go 18" to 20" unless you're just using it as a mall driver(insult) which it is not! You want more tire side wall.

If you didn't like the color then why did you buy it. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but it sounds like you're complaining a lot about a brand new truck you just bought?

The fake air scoop?!? Why do people always say this? No car now a days as a "functional" scoop and from what I've found if they do it's mainly for cooling. There is a company who makes carbon fiber hoods for the 3rd gen, but again it's just cooling. The way our intake works you woudnt see any gains from a function hood scoop.

Also I drove a 16 OR while my Pro was in the shop for 3 weeks
