    The manual gear box is nice and notchy, "short" throws for a truck, could def be shorter, the shift knob is surprisingly big, but feels pretty natural once you start shifting

    if you like that stock shift knob, then that makes one of us. the truck hadn't cooled down from its first drive and i was replacing that thing in my driveway.

    btw if you like shorter throws then take a look at the URD shifter. i'm probably headed to it myself, but i'm kinda patient about it since i have no complaints with any of it so far, and i'm still breaking her in (according to me lol).

    well the made a 2015 pro. no 2016 pro, and they made a 2017 pro. so maybe they will continue the trend and skip 2018 and make a 2019 every other yr..

    I dont think that's an accurate reason to go on. '15 was 2nd gen. '16 was 1st year of 3rd gen. Did they make any other Pros in 2nd gen?

    No! The Baja came out in 2012 thru 2014. Basically the same as the 15 Pro - the stickers and slightly different valving on the shocks.

    anyone with a lot more miles than me (still on first tank of gas) on the MT can comment if my clutch is normal-- smooth pushing in/out in neutral. But sometimes pushing in/out to change gears it "feels" like it wants to squeak when it starts to engage. But it never makes a noise at all. Just feels through the shoes like how a squeaky clutch would feel.

    i have that sometimes, and I've had it at times since the beginning like you describe. i bet you'll get the squeak one day. mine started about 2-3 weeks ago. time to deal with it, just haven't made the time yet.

    Well, it finally happened. Got my 2017 TRD Pro Tacoma in Super White 6M and LOVE the manual and I am coming from a WRX STi manual which rocked as well. No complaints so far, only been 1 day ;)

    3 weeks of ownership and I love this truck. Super white 6spd. Yesterday I drove my 09 BMW 335i. Man 450lbs of tq is intoxicatingly, but I love the ruggedness of the pro!
