Dealer just sent me a spec sheet. He said JBL & Moon Roof are an option but :(
not the 2 options this one has. I don't really care about the JBL, I'd do just what
I did on this one and put JL-Audio in everywhere and a sub. But I would want
    the moon roof.

I was at Fox racing today in Scotts Valley, and the gentleman who I met there showed me the factory where they are making the TRD Pro shocks. I didn't see a completed shock, but I saw the CNC machine where the bodies were being made. Very cool stuff.

I am still planning on getting a Cement TRD Pro, but ONLY if a moonroof option is available.

Same here. My local dealer called today and told me they are going to start taking orders. They also told me they are going to check on the moonroof option and get back to me on Monday, so I'll post the info here when I get it.

Like the looks of the truck, though am not a fan of the "Tundra Style" door badge...think I would pull that off.
Then again, save the $$$ and get a TRD OR Taco and change the grill as that is still the only butt ugly thing about the new trucks.

Do you guys think the 2017 TRD Pro rear shocks will work with a 1.5" AAL? I'm asking because I'd like to put the TRD Pro suspension on a TRD OR but also want to add the 1.5" Icon AAL. When I look at some of the pictures of the TRD pro prototypes, it looks to me like the front is just a hair higher than the rear but it doesn't look bad. I would just rather have a little rake.

So I just heard from the dealer, and they told me there is one 'unclaimed' in my area. Sadly they also told me there is no moonroof option, which kinda sucks.
I'm going to double check with Toyota but it's not looking good. Damn.

Is a moonroof really that important? It'd be cool, but if one has as least jbl, I'd buy it lol.

I'm getting one if the manual with no options is 39k or less.

I was ready to ink a deal on 4runner Trail with KDSS when I learned that they are still being made with known faulty airbags. So I went back to the drawing board, and have been debating between a F150 and Tacoma TRD Pro. After reading all the good and bad on this forum, I am now sold on the Tacoma TRD line. Now to find a dealer with allocation for a Cement Auto Pro...that won't go above sticker.

Well I got bad news from my dealer the other day. The one Cement Grey Pro that he is getting in the initial allocation wont have the Moon Roof. This didn't bother me that much being 6'4" I could use the head room anyway, but then he goes on to say that it wont have JBL either. CRAP...the one thing I was specific about, but this could turn out to be a good thing maybe. Cuts the price and I can always do the plug and play system OEM Audioplus system and still have a good quality system.

You could do a custom system that would be a hell of a lot better than that OEM system for half the price.

Talked to my dealer here, and he stated that the dealerships (up here in canada anyways) will just be allocated the trucks based on overall toyota dealership sales. No ordering specific colors or transmission or option. Just, you get what you get don't be upset. and then went on to say if a dealership trys to change something with the allocations they'll outright lose theirs.

all allocations in this area(MD, VA, NC) that I've checked, and I've checked with a crap ton
of dealers - do not have the JBL or the Moon-Roof - No one is even 100% sure if the Moon-Roof
is even an option on the Pro.

FK the JBL, put a better system in yourself. Moonroof is bs on truck, just my opinion. The PRO looks great, I wouldn't let the moonroof be any deciding factor.

Trd pro is starting to look and sound lamer and lamer. Moon roof and jbl should be absolutely standard. Other than the badges, leather, and factory fox suspension your really not getting much value. Building a trd off road or sr5 with custom aftermarket is definitely the way to go.
Only way this would change is if the Pro came with a different more powerful engine. But a little 1" lift and still on 265's...boring.
This is of course for guys who like to customize. For the others who just want to buy and leave it as is....I don't know. I'd still be missing those luxury features, jbl & moonroof, for the price.

Like the 4runner and Tundra, Pro's are based off of stripped SR5 with offroading equipment. That's why they are usually cheaper than the Limited.

Kind of what I was thinking... If someone wants all the bells and whistles, then maybe a Limited is the way to go. However, I understand the thinking that it should come with a certain amount of bells and whistles if you're paying full size truck money for a mid size truck.

Last I heard, JBL and moonroof don't add much off-road capability. Like I mentioned previously, if those are the highest priority for you then the Pro isn't your best choice.
