I figure I'm about 2-3 years from buying... but the Pro definitely has my interest.

Just put a deposit on one. Haggled between two dealers to get one to give it to me for 500 over invoice. Just excited to be part of the family.

PRO is a nice vehicle, and it will be nice all stock too. It will cost a premium though. In SoCal i bet they charge over sticker too. With taxes and fees the PRO is going to be $45k at least, not including financing the total cost of the vehicle which will add at least another $2,500 on average, and that would be with a good interest rate. If you put down like $10k, your looking at way over $500 a month. I've see quit a few pepole think this is going to be similar to the cost of the OR....that is wishful thinking.

I wouldn't drop down on one, but I'd buy the TRD Pro grill to stick in my TRD-Off Road. (if it will fit)

IMO The Pro is a Toyota for guys like me. Don't go off road but want someone else to build my super duper off road Tacoma to make it look like I am the great outdoors man. I cannot help but thinking a REAL off roader wants to BUILD THEIR OWN TRUCK...TRD Pro is all about aesthetics. $40,000? Not a chance. I have seen better built trucks for a whole lot less. The whole "Pro" line is Gimmicky.

Not sure on the invoice price but I have it worked out that if its not what I want I can use my deposit on an OR. Either one, it's 500 over invoice.

It's true, I am a sucker for its looks...

I'm at the point in my life where I just want to be a user... gimme a solid oem machine and other than a few minor tweaks and tires, I'm good. My rock crawling days are behind me.

I may consider the trading up my 2007. Wish blue or black was an option.

I would trade in my built '12 for a TRD OR or TRD PRO if they offer it with a diesel. Otherwise I'm finishing my build and keeping it till I die or it falls apart...... whichever comes first.

Same here and not sure how they are thinking that lol. The Pro is a fully loaded OR with leather, LED fogs, and the upgraded suspension. Plus its a limited offering. That's got to tack on $5-7k onto the OR so I'm thinking 45k at the lowest

Considering the starting msrp of the 4runner trd pro is 41,850, i would expect the tacoma trd pro msrp to be less. Notice starting msrp, not out the door.

We all know the 4runner is more expensive than the tacoma.

Leather sides :). I'm guessing 3k more than the OR

Think youre being optimistic if you think the suspension, lights, skids, and other "upgrades" will only add up to 3k. But hey its all a guess now anyway.

There should be a thread for guessing the MSRP price of the PRO. It's a heavily debated topic around these parts

I'll be honest and say that I am waiting for the numbers to come out. I didn't think I would be, but I find myself interested... I need to not buy a full size as I really don't need one.
