I'm in the SE so was doing my searching NC, SC and GA. I also considered FL cause my folks are there and would wrap a trip back home to take delivery of my truck. I ended up buying one out of the Charlotte area. Where are you? I know of a few AT's i came across i think are still available.

I'd imagine most will mark up at least 5k minimum

So the SE is only getting 7 MT's this first round and of those 4 are cement which are all spoken for but 1. This one available is going to Daphne AL and the dealer wants $5k over MSRP so around $47k which I think is ridiculous. You might be able to haggle with the the mgr I worked with Jeff to work on a better price but that may take some work, he seemed to be an good guy but understands the Tacoma market well.

You think they are going to mark it up $5k more from MSRP? The prices in the attached sheet is MSRP, not dealer invoicing.

Numerous dealerships will add a "market adjustment" or addendum on top of MSRP for sure, I spoke with a few dealers who are doing this in my searching phase.

Absolutely I know that will happen. As @taco_mac mentioned dealers call it a market adjustment due to the rarity of them. They did it on the 2nd gen pros, and they currently do it on the tundra and 4runner.

There are a few dealers that don't mark them up, but most do.

If you truly want a Pro I would try to secure one sooner than later, they're rumored to be only making 5% of the Pro's this year in MT (so that's only 150 trucks for the USA in MT.)

Its a long story but the short version is my original deposit for a cement MT went awry and the GM from that store was nice enough to share all the trucks currently allocated coming to the SE. Wit that I started calling until I secured the one I want. The big secret here is to call in and ask for/speak with an internet mgr, this gets you around the riff-raff some dealerships have in place as sales that know nothing of these specialty vehicles. Internet Mgr's have a better understanding of inbound inventory, how to work a deal mainly over the phone and typically more experienced on the dealerships practices and policies when ordering vehicles.

I also forgot to mention a cement MT coming to Marietta Toyota in GA, they too want $5k over MSRP.

Daphne AL is tiny so I'm confident there's only one Toyo dealer. Its East Shore Toyo.

8K+ more than a 2017 OR. That's steep. We'll see what things look like in a couple years when I go to buy, but I'm not optimistic.

They did for previous years, and people bought them, there limited production, the 16's are already in demand, guys were paying over MSRP for OR's initially on the west coast. They'll sell.

You're most definitely correct, I transposed them originally. Good catch!

I've seen a black '15 Tacoma Pro go for 6k+ over MSRP and most recently a MGM '16 4-Runner Pro with a 6k market adjustment and about 1.5k dealer add-ons here at Camelback Toyota in Phoenix. It's scary out there.

    Exactly.
Actually now that I think of it...
I saw a used pro inferno access cab with 8k miles and the dealer was asking 40k for it.

I don't know how much they got but they wouldn't budge on price when I talked to them. I do know it sold within a week of them listing it.
