so, this is what I wrote (email) to the dealer on August 1:

Hi Dave, any chance you could order a 2017 TRD Pro with Manual Transmission? Happy to make an immediate deposit if so. Thanks, Marv

and this is what the dumbass wrote back on August 2:

Marv,Toyota has made started builds for the 2017 Tacoma Pro, They are automatic transmissions. Will this work for you ?

It's gonna be a long summer.

I'm getting the same thing in the Midwest. I think they're building the autos first, then manuals.

I was told 12-14 weeks if I ordered a manual. No discussion of price. MSRP for auto was slightly over 43K. No delivery date quoted, but only "expect a few weeks."

HI all, new here, but researching buying a new Tacoma. Does anyone know more about the audio? I can't find anything about JBL being standard, but when watching the TFLTRUCK video on youtube, I saw the JBL logo on the touch screen. Does this mean the TRD Pro has the upgraded JBL system? I tried to upload a crappy screen shot from my phone, hopefully it works. The orange logo in the middle looks like the JBL logo.

I think it was in pre production that JBL was mentioned. Looks like the production versions of the truck will not have JBL.

The one I saw said "Entune Premium Audio w/integrated navi...etc." never mentioned JBL. But I think Premium is JBL.

No, entune premium is not JBL. They use the same "engine premium" nomenclature on the non JBL trucks.

I'm still confused some are saying yes, some saying no, but are we a 100% sure that there will be no sunroof on the pro model?

Correct no factory moonroof on the Tacoma Pro.

Do the Tundra and 4runner pros come with moonroof?

What?!?!? I thought the PRO didn't have add-on options. It should be $42 with all of that installed, except maybe the destination. But the all weather floor mats, mud guards, and roof rack should be standard.

Man I really want one but damn.
