I ordered one from my dealership in East Tennessee and it should be arriving soon. They told me it would take 6 to eight weeks for delivery and I only paid $1,000 over invoice.

 Just double checked my current payoff and it's $800 less then what I thought it was when I went into the dealer this morning. It keeps getting better and better. More equity is always a great thing.....

My dealer sent me a window sticker showing the options on the TRD Pro I have reserved. One of the installed options is "Cast Aluminum Running Boards" at $795.

I cannot find anything in the Toyota parts catalog or brochures that has that price and description. Anybody else here have that option? I'd love to know what these things look like. I'm buying the truck either way, but if these running boards are stupid, I'll just take them off and try and sell them.

    Thanks!

Those seem to look decent. And I do dig side steps for door ding protection.

Well that's not a short list lol. I guess I'll list it in the order I'm building it. That being said I've been planning this build since they first released the truck in Chicago. I had parts sitting in my garage months before I was even allocated the truck.

    List:
-CBI rear bumper with rear tire swing out, Gerry can holder, and folding camp table.
-rear mounted Baja designs lights in bumper flush
-CBI frame sliders similar to Expo Overlands Taco, but mine say CBI
-CBI hidden winch mount............I like the front bumper and really haven't found one I like yet
    -warn zeon s 8.5 winch
-4 Runner TRD pro wheels (matte black) 17's
    - BFG all terrains 285 ..... Will do cab chop and trim if need be.. I talked to a guy who has done it and says it only rubs while backing
-Leer 100xl ...........rhino lined inside as opposed to carpet, looks sick
-Prinsu designs cab and cap rack
-Baja designs s2's mounted on roof rack for camping light
    -CBI ditch light brackets
    -Baja designs ML-80's wide driving
    -rock lights 8 total
    -TRD cold air intake
-spod unit to control all accessories (cutting headliner to mount controls on roof)
    -national luna dual battery system
    -2 odyssey batteries
    -ARB dual air compressor
-all interior lights replaced with leds
-I am also dynomatting the roof, doors, and floor inside the cab to cut down on wind noise
    -CVT tent
    -goose gear drawer system
-Custom Deaver leaf spring pack to support extra wait, but more importantly it is designed to still function fully offroad
    -Console vault for center console
-Upgraded brakes to bigger rotor (drilled and slotted) with high performance pads

I am sure I'm forgetting a few things, but that's enough for now.

Are you the first $60,000 TRD Pro owner?

TRD Pro 4 runner wheels over the TRD PRO Tacoma wheels?

My current build is just short of 60k.
Unless you include the Goosegear drawers and cvt tent from my previous truck that I'm just transferring over. If you do then yes lol.

I chose the 4-runner wheels one bc they're 17's as opposed to 16's. Plus I'm not a fan of shinny wheels. Also I like the design better.

possibly could be that aficionados will gravitate towards the more rare cement and are more likely to be automotive forum enthusiasts as well.

Well if you look at most of the trucks for sale as well 80% or something are Cement in color. It's the exclusive color and it seems they are pumping a lot more of them out. At least initially of the 2000+ they are making this year. Barcelona Red is the rarest followed by super white.

When cement was announced, all the TW warlord hated it. Mine is a incoming cement, and has others. If Audi can make gorgeous RS5 and RS7 in Cement, so can tacoma.

Hey, where are you finding this information? I can't seem to find it at all. When I put in my deposit, I said I prefered a white but it MUST be manual. I really dont want a flashy car and I feel like the gray would be way too eye-catching (I work in the ghettos of North Philadelphia.)

I just did a search on Cars.com for "all miles" distance from my zip. It just gives an idea on how many of each color are available, etc.
Nothing really scientific......One thing that has been true on the 15 Pro, as well as the Baja's is that the manual tranny is much harder to find less made then the auto. As for as the total 17 Pro's that are going to be made, Bill Fay was quoted in a article saying that approx 1200 15 Pro's were made, and that he expects to sell double that with the 17 Pro.
