I wasn't sure if I liked the color. Dropping 46,000 for a mid size truck.

    I'm glad I bought it

3 weeks in and I'm still waiting for my dealer to allocate the truck. I went in and asked the dealer if it will be too long of a wait because my 95 4runner is slowly dying on me and I can't be out of a car because of my commute to work. Now he's still saying it's 8 weeks, 9 weeks tops. I got the truck for msrp. And with a few accessories it's about 45,000.

I have a question for the people who waited.
Once the dealer receives the allocation, about how long did you guys wait. I'm in the north east. If that helps.

    Thanks guys.

Tried to install the sidesteps from my 2011. Need to cut off 2 inches from the front in order for it to fit.

Had the same impression when I drove the Off-Road. Uninspiring.

I test drove an automatic and found it sluggish and unresponsive. Now granted, my current daily driver is a ~350hp Audi S4 (v8) but that confirmed for me that I would only take one in MT.

Ask them if they will give you a loaner if the TRD Pro is not delivered in "9 weeks tops".

Let me guess? You didn't push the ECT button......ECT off=agree sluggish.. ECT on= different animal. That's coming from a SC 4.0 MT Taco...

    Sorry, wrong guess. :)

I drove with the ECT on, and while it was better I found it had to rev quite high to feel at all responsive. Not much low end power with the AT imo, which is why I chose the MT.

I've driven MT all my life though, so for those used to AT I'm sure many would find it perfectly adequate.

    Whatever works for ya pal.

I prefer a manual transmission to feel more connected to my vehicle - which is why, as I said, i ordered my TRD Pro with a manual transmission.

Finally today we managed to buy a TRD Pro.

    Here is the details:

    MSRP: $43710+$1364 (packages)= $45077

    Trade: $9500

    $45077-$9500= $35577* 1.06% Tax.= $37711

Out the door $36000. I got it around $300 under msrp. With toyoguard and clear paint protection as added bonuses.

My credit was 790 and the rate through toyota financial was 4.89%.

    I paid $10000 cash and finance $26000.

    60 months for $497.52

Did I get screwed on financing. Should I refinance with my bank? Did I do good?

    Thanks

That's a crazy high interest rate for what your credit score is in my opinion......go to your credit union and check their rates. Their rates are much lower, mine is at 1.99 and most do refinancing as well. You can always get it then turn around and refinance it through the credit union at a much lower rate after a month or two. Other than that, everything looks good to me......my 2 cents

Going by your numbers they gave you $1,711 off your truck. Now that's a great deal

    To clarify:

    APR was 4.89%
    Intrest rate was 3.25%

They arw two different numbers resulting in same payment.

Would love to know your rates based on these two numbers.

    I will most likely refinance.

    Most def refi-
I got mine for 47.5 OTD.
43.9 with a ton of dealer add ons and accessories:
    - predator steps
    - tonneau cover with leds
    - elec locking tailgate
    - all weather mats
    - glass break sensor
    - trd air filter
    - wheel locks
    - window tint
    - nitro air tires

    6.3 percent t tax

Paid 10 down and financed 37.5 at 1.99.
Paying just at 1k/month for 36 months. Probably going to refinance through PenFed to get to 1.49.

Stopped by a dealership for giggles yesterday on the florida panhandle, very large distribution point dealer. They had a Pro inside the showroom. While admiring I made my way over to the window sticker. About that time a Salesman came up and started to talk to me. I politely stated I had one on allocation assigned to me, he still bugged me with questions (I know doing his job). I then noticed the price!! just shy of $52K!!!!! I turned to him and asked if that was for real, he replied yes, to which I said thats absurd but good luck with a sale. He was very nice, as was I, I understand he has little to do with the floor price and he agreed with everything I said. Crazy!!

Love seeing photos of everyone getting the Pro. I'd definitely get a Cement color one. But the white looks badass also. I'll stick with my 2011 truck. But if I come across a crap load of money in the future I'll for sure get a Pro.
