    Both the 2018 SET black emblem kit and the 2019 Toyota black emblem kit are overlays. There are no actual black emblems available for the 3rd gen.

    Good price. Is it with the "smooth" or rounded letters? That is what makes the 2018 different. Defined angles on the letter sides.

    That was my challenge until I saw the OEM kit for the 2018.

    Understood but the pictures show the rounded letters, not like those on the 2018. I guess I don't have much faith if the picture doesn't match the part number. *shrug*

    Just put them on. Incredibly easy. As stated earlier, no cut outs for the A's or the 6 on the back, but I don't want anyone getting that close to look anyway. I'll post pics when I'm near a computer. Also have 2 limited badges, 2 SR5 badges, and a 4x4 badge that I don't need, if anyone wants them. I'm debating taking the V6 badge off completely for a cleaner look. Not quite sure, yet.

    The v6 badge just floats out there lonely. I took mine off almost immediately after getting my truck. It looks much cleaner.

    I'm sure I'll end up doing that. If the 4x4 badge was on the other side, I'd probably leave it.

    The eBay kit I received isn't an overlay kit at all. The badges included are metal with tape included, except the Tacoma ones, those are plastic. Not overlay.

    I saw those too, they look pretty similar except they have cut outs. Seems like a tomato/ tomatoe type situation. I'm happy with mine and hope you dig yours too.
