I forgot to post this the other day, a member of our local car group spotted a test mule in Dearborn near Ford world HQ.

I'm all for it. I'm in the market for a new truck and have looked hard at a new F150 or a 16 Tacoma. I've had Fords in the past and they have served me well. I'm in no rush, I'll gladly wait to see what a new Ranger has to offer. I saw Ranger's overseas and they looked great.

Same here. I'm probably a good 3-5 years off from actually needing a new truck so I can sit tight and let the chips fall. If the Ranger is out earlier than that and it blows me away it's going to be hard to resist. Especially since I know the dealer so well that I'm sure I could get the first one available cheap with exactly what I want on it...

Very true, I've seen 2 global rangers/test mules in person within the last year. I live 5 mile west of the Wayne, MI plant, a few of my neighbors work there (both union and non-union) they're looking forward to this deal.

It shows Ford commitment to keep plants open in the USA. Watch, but the time Ford is building Rangers at a plant that used to build the Focus, GM will be building the Colorado right next door to the Mexican Focus plant.
