2018 OR Grill No More Chrome

    Looks good and I considered going this route because honestly the OR grille ain't that bad. Depending on how it catches the light I think it can look pretty nice even with the chrome, other times it's just ok but ok enough with my cement paint. The TRD pro grille is getting a little overused and does look kinda cheap in its own way.

    I'll switch to the black bezel if I ever have to switch out the OEM headlights, otherwise that chrome remaining in there would just drive me nuts.

    you’re supposed to, it may still work but it’s not correct if it hasn’t been calibrated. The dealer has special equipment specifically for calibration.

    I finally swapped out my OR grille for an SR grille/bezel that I picked up almost a year ago on eBay. I sanded the chrome bezel with 320 grit sand paper, cleaned it with mild detergent/water followed by rubbing alcohol and then applied three coats of SEM Trim Black Ultra. The satin finish looks about right and the truck's visage definitely looks different. We will see how durable it is.
