I had a full time job (50-60 hours a week) doing nothing but inspecting new vehicles for a Kia dealership when I was 18-20. Made 12.50 an hour just inspecting cars all day every day and then doing regular service work when I was caught up/ no deliveries. Had a checklist of about 50 items to inspect for each vehicle from seat belts to tightening lugs to fluid check to battery testing to pretty much the whole car.

 

So the cam gear needs to be replaced. I had to go back to dealer to get my sunglasses. Asked service manager why my front wheels were off. He said “because the mechanic is short”

They will keep an extra day to test drive.

 

Hope they get it fixed correctly so you can start enjoying.

 

sorry about the issues and sometimes some will have issues and hopefully you get it back and have no more issues.

 

2018 taco, 903 miles on it. Wouldn’t start this morning. Had to jump it. After driving for an hour it was able to start on its own. However, when itdoes start there is a hesitation and a slight grinding noise. 2 hours at dearship and no codes, battery is 100%. So I was curious if anyone had some advise?

 

wow. sorry. I have no clue if battery is full

 

Had the same issue with my visor, the dealer replaced it -BUT- it took a month to get the part. It was on back order because a lot of people are having that issue.

driver sun visor fell out this morning. tacoma has 5,000 miles on it bought new in march 2018
