2018 Tacoma SR Weird Shifting?!?

    Ive had my 18 tacoma sr since march of 2018 and everytime i start it up and get going the first shift almost feels like if someone hit you in the back. Also, whenever youre going at lets say 45 mph and all of a sudden you have to stop because of a car and then go again when the car goes it shifts kinda rough. Is this normal?

    If i dont fix the issue will it ruin the transmission or will it go away after more miles?! I only have 8000 miles on it now
