Guys before anyone inserts past threads I've read them but I've seen SO many conflicting results..

I have a 2018 TRD Pro that I'm looking to upgrade the wheels and tires.

I already have a set of SCS Brushed Cooper 17'' wheels and was thinking of getting the BF Goodrich AT tires to go with it.

What is the max size I can get without rubbing and without it looking too crowded... I don't want to mess with the suspension and triming. Just want to upgrade the wheels and tires

PICS would be awesome if you have them

    Thanks
    Mike

A bunch of us have 255/85/16s and it’s been a great way to get 33s on a stock 3rd Gen suspension…..255/80/17 is the same size (more wheel less meat on the tires) ....... with no trimming / chopping whatsoever.....and the spare tire fits under a short bed without having to move the bracket:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/put-255-85-16s-on-stock-or-wheels-and-suspension.491079/

The offset / backspacing of those SCS wheels will affect the rub......so compare them to the stock Pro and OR rims. Both of those work just fine with the 255s
