2018 Trd Pro - towing a trailer

    It changes the angle of the ball to create leverage. It's like a wheel barrow.

    Unfortunately all of these truck squat when lightly loaded. That includes F-150s, GMC 1500s and RAM 1500s. If you plan on using your truck for hauling more than 500 lbs or towing more than 3000 lbs then take your truck into a spring shop and have more leaf springs added. Never mind all that after market internet junk. I had two more leafs per side added to my rear then had to add a 2 1/4" lift to front to level it out again. Although I didn't plan on lifting my truck... it did and it looks great. Now I can haul a ton in the bed and it doesn't squat hardly at all.

    Going to zombie this thread...

    So, my worry with doing an AAL (which I did to my Gen II with very good results) is the fear of over-extending the rear fox shocks when I do go off-road. When I did the AAL on my Gen II, I also added longer Bilsteins.

    I emailed Wheelers and they didn't have much insight as I figure not many people are doing with with Pro's.
