I"m about to trade in my 2016 for a 2019 trd sport upgrade
but it looks like it doesn't have tpms!!1

    is this correct?
is it just a case of no sensors in the rims?
if i put tmps sensors in my new rims will i get tpms info on my screen?

According to the Toyota Canada website - you are correct. The 2019 DC Sport does not have TPMS.

Be happy! No stupid light in the winter and need to spend $$$ on those sensors.

TPMS was never a requirement in Canada, it’s only a legal requirement in the US. Lots of manufacturers are starting to pull it on Canadian vehicles to save a little cash and the wasted warranty time at the dealer when idiots come in with a light and no idea how to fill a tire.

I think it's the manual transmission trucks here that don't have the TPMS. My 17 Sport manual doesn't have it. I've seen even the TRD Pro with MT doesn't have the TMPS.
