Locking gas cap.. I would prefer a smooth gas door with a factory cap hook and push button or lever release like many of the other Toyota offerings. Yaris, Corolla, Camry, Rav, Highlander, CHR....... ect
The Tacoma, Tundra, and 4runner may be the only current offerings that have a pull open gas door, though I could not swear to that.

I really do not need the driver's grab handle. I get in and out with generally no grabbing of anything other than my coffee or coke. I will admit that the fact that the passenger side has one and the driver's does not makes my OCD scenes tingle.

I thought only the Avalon has been confirmed to get Apple CarPlay for 2019?

They're discontinuing the automatic and bringing back manuals across the entire line after they realized their huge mistake.

Totally agree. My wife's Avalon has the two memory adjustments plus, when you turn off the ignition and open the driver's side door, the seat automatically moves all the way back. Makes in and out much easier. Damn, we're getting lazy aren't we. :D

I see that. But the airbag also deployed. To say you can't have a handle and an airbag seems to be misleading. But I don't work for Toyota, so I'm not sure why there isn't one.

Point of interest. I was sitting at the Toyota dealership waiting for my truck to be ready from service. They had a nice OR on the floor. A man and his wife were looking at it for quite a while, and then the man decided to climb in to check out the cabin. He stepped on the predator step and instinctively grabbed for the assist handle which of course was not there. He looked back at his wife with the "WTF" expression on his face and they walked away. Lost sale? maybe maybe not.

On the subject of driver’s side grab handles:

I was wondering why I never seemed to miss not having one, then it hit me. I don’t have side steps or running boards, so I lead with my right foot, while grabbing my steering wheel with my right hand.

If I did have side steps, I’d probably miss the nonexistent handle, as I’d be first stepping on the step with my left foot.

So, everyone please immediately remove your steps! Problem solved.

Yep, totally get that.... true story....

I'd give up (well, guess I did already) the pillar grab handle for a flip down above the window. That's where I like to grab ahold of on occasion when driving for long periods.

Honestly never needed a grab handle. I'm 6'2". Is everyome here 5 feet tall? You tellin me you need to hoist yourself up into the truck with a separate handle? Lift your leg, Grab the steering wheel, sit your ass in the seat

I'm hoping for front drums. Then i'll only have to do brakes changes in 15 year intervals.

Real man doesn’t need his wife’s approval to buy truck

Hopefully he walked over to the ridgeline dealer and got himself one of those

    Those are pre wife approved

I thought it's every five years when the rear axle breather welds itself shut and the oil goes full Taco Bell after lunch shart all over the shoes.
